The Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA), a non-profit
independent specialized accrediting agency recognized by the US Department
of Education, seeks to improve the quality of education in the fields of
massage therapy and bodywork through an accreditation process that reflects
the current and emerging professional practice standards.
