Get Massage Therapy State Board and Canadian Province Massage Regulation and Contact Info

rocks and flowers symbolizing massage state board information

Learn all about massage therapy state boards, licensure and regulation in the U.S. and Canada. It is important to contact the state board or province where you plan on practicing to learn the licensure and regulation requirements before you attend massage school, as this will help you cater your education to what you need to start your massage career.

From looking at this list, you can see that variations from state to state make choosing a school very important. Choosing the wrong school can mean that when you want to move to another state, you have to start your education over again.

U.S. massage therapy state board contact and requirement information is in alphabetical order, by state below. Canadian province contact and massage requirement information is located after the U.S. state board list. Please note that Alaska (except for the city of Valdez), Kansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Vermont and Wyoming have no state regulation at this time. Regulations have passed but have not yet been implemented in Idaho and Michigan.
