About our School

Massage Center is a California State approved Massage School. We only teach Massage Therapy which enables us to offer some amazing Massage programs. We pride ourselves in having small class sizes with an average of 10 students per class so you will always experience high quality learning with emphasis on one-on-one instruction. After graduating you will be able to enter the rapidly expanding world of Massage Therapy. You will be able to obtain a California State Certificate as either a Massage Practitioner or as a Massage Therapist.

Massage as a Profession

Transform your life and enter the world of Massage Therapy, which can be a highly profitable, versatile, and rewarding career. Massage Therapists can earn up to $70 per hour. Work hours are flexible and can be arranged to fit any schedule. Other areas of work include day spas, salons, cruise ships, resort hotels, as well as medical and Chiropractic offices.

300 Hour Massage Practitioner Program (no pre-requisite)

The 300 Hour program is composed of basic Swedish massage training, advanced specialty classes and practical experience. It is designed to teach the basic massage course, followed by a selection of advanced elective classes in order to diversify the knowledge of the massage therapist. These electives are not merely lectures about or introductions to a new modality, but rather complete stand-alone courses themselves. These courses offer a very advanced level of specialized education taught by experienced instructors.

Most massage programs have a "one size fits all" standard curriculum that every student follows to completion. At the Massage Center we believe that the student should be able to custom design their massage and bodywork education to meet their individual preferences and scheduling requirements.

500 Hour Massage Therapist Program (no pre-requisite)

This course will expand your knowledge and provide you the skills to become an exceptional Massage Therapist. In addition to learning therapeutic massage techniques, you will gain an in-depth knowledge of the human body and become familiar with anatomy and pathology as it relates to massage therapy.

The 500 Hour Program meets and exceeds the guidelines of both the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as well as the California Certification for Massage Therapists.

Massage Center is located in Thousand Oaks and Chatsworth, California.

Our Thousand Oaks location is conveniently located off the 101 and 23 freeways on Thousand Oaks Blvd., in the El Cid Plaza.

Our Chatsworth location is located on Devonshire Blvd between Topanga Cyn and Owensmouth St.
