ATI's Professional Massage Therapy Programs

Known centuries ago as a cure for a multitude of ailments, the importance of massage therapy to overall health and well-being is now widely documented and acknowledged. With this, the demand for qualified massage therapists has greatly increased.

Due to the resurgence of interest in the field of massage therapy, ATI, an industry leader in technical and allied health training, has answered this need with the opening of their 12,000 square foot state-of-the-industry training facility in Dallas, Texas. In North Richland Hills, ATI has over 6,000 square feet dedicated to future massage therapists of Tarrant County. The beautifully and elegantly-styled facility parallels the environments which massage therapists will encounter in their everyday profession.

The ATI Dallas introduced their massage therapy program* on December 4, 2003 and ATI in North Richland Hills introduced their massage therapy program in December of 2004. The program is designed to prepare the student for a massage therapy career which integrates theory, technique, anatomy and physiology, practical experience and professional development. The full-time 12-week course or part-time 24-week course focuses on Swedish massage.

The massage therapy course consists of:

  • Anatomy and physiology - 75 hours
  • Professional ethics - 5 hours
  • Health and hygiene - 20 hours
  • Swedish massage - 125 hours
  • Business practices - 10 hours
  • Massage therapy internship - 50 hours
