At the Academy of Therapeutic Massage & Healing Arts we believe that massage is a way of life. We teach our students to incorporate massage therapy into their lives not as an occasional luxury but as a necessity. Massage therapy is a highly effective healthcare therapy that supports and enriches health and well-being. Bottom-line it feels great and works good to relieve muscle soreness, stress, tension, and to relieve built up toxins in the body.

Massage therapy is one of the fastest growing fields in heath care and has helped countless numbers of people to feel better and increase the quality of their lives. At the Academy of Therapeutic Massage & Healing Arts we put an emphasis on marketing your practice. And we do something pretty cool and unique: students at the Academy start building their clientele before they graduate! That's right; when graduation day arrives you are already seasoned massage therapists with well over 100 massages under your belt. Ready to touch peoples lives, that is not only rewarding for them physically, but mentally & emotionally as well.. Learn how to touch peoples hearts, souls & lives in a positive way! We do provide Job placement with our own Massage center; A Center for Body Therapy & we also work with local Beauty Salons, Spa’s, Physicians & the Casino’s in job placement. We help you to present a Resume & a cover letter to assist you wherever you go in Massage Therapy. Our goal is for you is to be the BEST!

The Academy of Therapeutic Massage & Healing Arts is located in Vineland, NJ - right in the heart of South Jersey. We are conveniently located between Atlantic City and Philadelphia. The Academy is a Licensed state-approved school by the New Jersey Department of Education.

Our 600-hour 6-month program guides students through a comprehensive curriculum. It covers over 17 different techniques including:

Training is also provided in business, marketing, advertising, presentation skills, and professional boundaries and ethics.

At the Academy, we understand how hard it is to go to school, work full-time or part-time jobs and take care of your family. Flexibility is the name of the game - that's why we have day and evening classes available. The school maintains a minimum teacher/student ratio of 1:12 in all bodywork classes, and in some cases the ratio is 1:6.

All classes start in SEPT & MARCH of every year.

Our class schedule is Monday - Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. for day classes or 6:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. for evening classes and one weekend of each month from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Financial Assistance is available.
Students must apply in advance for finanacial assistance, there are several options available to help you.

Our faculty is comprised of over eight instructors with over 30 years of experience!

National Certification

Graduates of the Academy meet the eligibility requirements to sit for the National Certification exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Prior to graduation a National Exam Review is offered to all students.
