Degree program options/details:
- Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) — 4-5 years.
- Naturopathic Midwifery Certificate (available to ND
candidates and licensed NDs only)
- Dual Degree Program: Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine/Master
of Science in Acupuncture (ND/MSA) — 5 years.
- Combined Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine/Master of Science in
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ND/MSAOM) — 6 years.
- Students complete training at Bastyr's state-of-the-art
clinical instruction facility in Seattle, Bastyr Center for
Natural Health (BCNH), the largest natural health clinic in the
Pacific Northwest.
- Students in the naturopathic medicine degree program can
enrich their studies with electives from within the broad Bastyr
curriculum, including courses in: herbal sciences, nutrition,
acupuncture and Oriental medicine, exercise science and health
psychology.
- Education covers all aspects of primary care — from
pediatrics to geriatrics — and encompasses a broad spectrum
of modalities, including: botanical medicine; nutrition;
homeopathy; hydrotherapy; naturopathic manipulation;
