The curriculum at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy balances classic Western massage with traditional Eastern bodywork. We offer instruction in the full range of styles and techniques, from technical massage to energetic manipulation. Boulder Colorado: Gateway to the Rockies

Situated at the foot of the Rocky Mountains and basking in 300 days of glorious sunshine a year, Boulder supports over 300 restaurants, 30 art galleries, 9 microbreweries, a superlative network of commuter bicycle paths, and large tracts of open space. As a Boulderite, you will literally find hiking, bicycling, rock climbing, trail running, kayaking and fishing outside your front door. In the winter, a short drive puts you in a wonderland of sledding, ice skating, snowshoeing, and, of course, the best skiing in the world.

Massage Therapy Certificate Program (CMT)

As a CMT student, you will learn four modalities: Zen Shiatsu, Swedish Therapeutic Massage, Normalization of Soft Tissue, and Integrative Therapeutic Massage. These are supported by coursework in the human sciences, psychology, ethics, and career development.

Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) Degree

BCMT was one of the first massage therapy colleges in the US to offer the postgraduate AOS Degree. This training enables you to master advanced techniques that will enable you to provide a more robust range of services to your clients and expand your private practice.

Service Learning: The Spirit of Giving

As part of your experiential training, your will intern at hospitals, hospices, schools, athletic programs, chiropractic offices, elder care facilities, and veterinary clinics where you will build your skill set as your deliver essential bodywork services to the local community.

Student Clinic: Learning by Doing

The 12-room Student Clinic provides an opportunity for you to ply your craft and hone your techniques in a professional, supervised setting.

Career Preparation: Your Launch Pad

Our professional development classes teach the skills necessary for your success as an employee or as the proprietor of a private practice. You'll learn how to create a business plan, develop marketing materials, acquire clientele and manage day-to-day operations.
