At Bellevue Massage School, we love what we do. Rather than a cookie-cutter approach to massage therapy, we strive to nurture and empower each individual to realize their goals and dreams. Our mission is to effectively deliver the highest quality of education to each student by taking into account their individual learning style. Whether an auditory, kinesthetic, or visual learner, our curriculum delivers information in a way that reaches students. Students own, rather than simply memorize, information. And by doing so, they become exceptional therapists with the confidence to succeed.

Indiviualized instruction in small classes makes it possible to receive an excellent education in only 7 months!

Our average class size is 8-12 students, and combined Saturday classes may have up to 24. We believe small classes create more personalized learning and give students more quality time with their instructors. Experience shows us that this helps increase retention levels for the state exam. In fact, since 1977, over 98% of our students have passed the exam on the first attempt!

Innovative curriculum accenting a holistic approach

We offer a holistic approach to massage and an environment that encourages students to discover how massage and related modalities can balance physical, mental, chemical, emotional and spiritual energies resulting in overall improved health. Students will become proficient at Swedish Relaxation Massage and Deep Tissue. Various other treatment strategies are discussed in depth in the Massage Theory and Practice classes. Anatomy/Physiology and Kinesiology round out the core of the program, teaching the basics of pathologies, the systems of the body and how the body creates movement. All three classes complement each other and provide the conceptual framework for success.
