History

Bryan College has been providing focused, relevant career training to students since 1982, when it was founded in order to meet the growing demands of students seeking a no-nonsense course of study. As a career education college, Bryan College's goal quickly became to teach students courses that directly related to their field of study, providing relevant information, skills and knowledge.

Personal Trainer Diploma

Bryan College's Personal Trainer Diploma program can be completed in 60 weeks. The personal training courses offered at our schools in Rogers and Springfield are designed to teach students the skills necessary to function in a physical fitness environment!

Through participating in Bryan College's personal trainer program, you can become familiar with industry terminology, biomechanics, and biomechanical and exercise physiology, as well as learn techniques in office management, records management, lifestyle and health, nutrition, athletic training, psychology, and sports medicine.

The Personal Trainer program is a great way to get started in the physical fitness industry--and for those who seek further instruction, earned credits can be transferred to the exercise specialist occupational associate's degree program.

Bryan College's personal trainer program will teach you:

  • Physical fitness office management
  • Physical fitness records management
  • Maintenance of lifestyle and health
  • Nutrition and weight management
  • Physical training programs and techniques
  • Psychology used in physical fitness
  • Sports medicine
  • Industry terminology
  • Biomechanics and exercise physiology
  • Legal requirements associated with the fitness industry

Bryan College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award diplomas and Associate of Occupational Studies degrees. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Bryan College is approved by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in federally-funded financial aid programs. The College is certified to operate by the Arkansas State Board of Private Career Education. Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board certification does not constitute an endorsement of any institution or program. Such certification merely indicates that certain criteria have been met as required under the rules and regulations implementing institutional and program certification as defined in Arkansas Code 6-61-301.
