History

We were the first college of massage therapy in the regulated province of Ontario; our institution founded therapeutic massage in Canada. As requested by the Department of Veteran's Affairs and the Canadian Veteran's Institute, the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy was founded in 1946. The government agencies wanted to create an opportunity for World War 2 veterans who could train to become massage therapists in order to assist in the rehabilitation of other war veterans.

With a foundation built on over a half century of quality education, service and experience, the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy, provides you with the opportunity for a unique and rewarding career in massage therapy. We are committed to constantly improving our facility and curriculum for the benefit of our students and the profession in massage.
