CenterPoint's Four Diploma Programs

CenterPoint offers a unique opportunity for students to experience an East-West educational approach. CenterPoint's programs provide the depth and diversity you need for a rewarding career in therapeutic bodywork.

East West Therapeutic Bodywork

East-West Therapeutic Bodywork is CenterPoint's premier program. Immerse yourself in the study of Japanese Shiatsu and therapeutic massage. You will learn to integrate skill and knowledge from both the eastern and western modalities to better serve a greater number of clients. Enroll in this program if you wish to work from a holistic approach to help clients to feel better, recover from injury, restore balance and lead healthy lives.

Shiatsu Therapy

720 Clock Hours
37.5 Credit Hours

In CenterPoint's Shiatsu Therapy program, students train in two full-body styles of shiatsu, learn the foundation of Japanese and Chinese medicine, and acquire a uniquely large toolbox of skills and techniques to better serve future clients. Choose Shiatsu Therapy and expand your ideas of health and wellness.

Therapeutic Massage

720 Clock Hours
36 Credit Hours

CenterPoint's Therapeutic Massage program includes Swedish massage and advanced therapeutic massage. The foundation is an in-depth science curriculum with a client-centered approach to massage. Our unique method of teaching advanced therapeutic techniques includes trigger point therapy, myofascial release and deep tissue training in an integrated model which offers a more holistic approach. You will learn to help clients to recover from injury and manage pain.

Spa and Resort Massage

630 Clock Hours
32.5 Credit Hours

Choose the Spa and Resort Massage program if you wish to work at a luxury resort, on a cruise ship or at a day spa. Students in the Spa and Resort Massage program first train in Swedish massage, and progress into a vast array of spa techniques including wraps, clay application, foot reflexology, aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, heated stones and much more. If your vision is to offer relaxation and comfort for your client, this is the program for you.

CenterPoint's A La Carte Courses

CenterPoint's "a la carte" specialty-training courses are designed for you to enhance your future professional practice. Add to your program one or more of the following:

• Spa and Resort Techniques
• Thai Massage
• Craniosacral Techniques
• Lymph Drainage Massage
• Nutrition for Health
• Tao of Healthy Eating

Program Schedules

CenterPoint's school-year consists of three 15-week terms, and admits new students in January, May and September. CenterPoint offers full-time and part-time schedules with day and evening options.
