CenterPoint's Three Diploma Programs

CenterPoint offers a unique opportunity for students to experience an East-West educational approach. CenterPoint's programs provide the depth and diversity you need for a rewarding career in therapeutic bodywork.

East West Therapeutic Bodywork

East-West Therapeutic Bodywork is CenterPoint's premier program. Immerse yourself in the study of Japanese Shiatsu and Therapeutic Massage. You will learn to integrate skill and knowledge from both the eastern and western modalities to better serve a greater number of clients. Enroll in this program if you wish to work from a holistic approach to help clients to feel better, recover from injury, restore balance and lead healthy lives.

Shiatsu Therapy

900 Clock Hours
43.5 Credit Hours

In CenterPoint's Shiatsu Therapy program, students train in two full-body styles of shiatsu, learn the foundation of Japanese and Chinese medicine, and acquire a uniquely large toolbox of skills and techniques to better serve future clients. Choose Shiatsu Therapy and expand your ideas of health and wellness.

Therapeutic Massage

900 Clock Hours
43.5 Credit Hours

CenterPoint's Therapeutic Massage program includes Swedish massage and Advanced Therapeutic Massage. The foundation is an in-depth science curriculum with a client-centered approach to massage. Our unique method of teaching advanced therapeutic techniques includes trigger point therapy, myofascial release and deep tissue training in an integrated model which offers a more holistic approach. You will learn to help clients to recover from injury and manage pain.

CenterPoint's Elective Courses

CenterPoint's Elective courses offer training in a variety of specialty areas. Each diploma program includes one or two Elective courses to enhance your future professional practice. CenterPoint's Elective courses are:

• Spa and Resort Techniques
• Foot & Hand Reflexology
• Hospital Massage
• Thai Massage
• Craniosacral Techniques
• Lymph Drainage Massage
• Discovering the Healer Within

Program Schedules

CenterPoint's school-year consists of three 15-week terms, and admits new students in January, May and September. CenterPoint offers full-time and part-time schedules with day and evening options.

• CenterPoint's curriculum exceeds the national standards for education.
• CenterPoint's technique instructors are nationally certified in massage or Asian bodywork therapy.

• Graduates qualify for the national certification exams and exceed national pass rates.
• CenterPoint is licensed with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education as a private career school pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, sections 141.21 to 141.32.
