Our medically oriented training programs are uniquely designed for people already having busy schedules. Our most popular program awards a full diploma in both massage and spa therapy (738 hour) and may be completed in only 8 months, full time, or 16 months, part time.

At CMS, our open door entry policy allows students to begin their training at various points throughout the programs. Graduates can relax knowing job placement assistance and opportunities are always available.

Full Massage and Spa Diploma Program

The Best of Both Worlds

• 8 months (full time) or 16 months (part time)
• 738 hours, awards 39.5 credits
• Classes meet Monday through Thursday
• Select Your Class: Morning 9-12, Afternoon 1:30-4:30, Evening 6-9

Students selecting 2 classes per day can complete in only 8 months.
Students selecting 1 class per day can complete in 16 months.

This program is very unique. Learning both massage and spa therapy prepares graduates to enjoy the benefits of priority employment and versatility. Our hands-on approach in all subject areas within this program encourages active participation. Having completed the training, graduates will demonstrate competency in their learned abilities.

Semesters Begin June 23, 2008; August 7, 2008; October 2, 2008; and November 25, 2008

Massage Therapy Diploma - Massage Therapist

• 8 months (full time) or 16 months (part time)
• 603 hours, awards 32.5 credits
• Classes meet Monday through Thursday
• Select Your Class: Morning 9-12, Afternoon 1:30-4:30, Evening 6-9

Students selecting 2 classes per day can complete in only 8 months.
Students selecting 1 class per day can complete in 16 months.

This program focuses on preparing graduates for employment and entrepreneurship. The medically based learning approach is enjoyable and very hands-on. Students learn general wellness and most importantly the therapeutic approach and how to assess conditions and implement effective protocols.

Semesters Begin June 23, 2008; August 7, 2008; October 2, 2008; and November 25, 2008

Spa Therapy Diploma - Spa Therapist

• 8 months
• 264 hours, awards 15.5 credits
• Classes meet Monday through Thursday*
• Select Your Class: Morning 9-12, Afternoon 1:30-4:30, Evening 6-9

*Students must select 2 classes on Monday, 1 class on Tuesday and Wednesday and one class on the first 5 Thursdays.
Pre-Requisites: Prior training in esthetics, cosmetology, massage therapy or medical.

Students will acquire detailed skills in product knowledge and applications of wraps, scrubs, sunless spray tanning, wet and dry room treatments, and much more. Having completed this program, students will gain competency in applications, business and management skills and be ready for employment or establishing your own spa.

Continuing Education
