Our Vision & Philosophy

At the Center For Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy (CNWSMT) we believe that a dynamic therapist is one who combines knowledge and excellent bodywork with a deep honoring of the transformational energy of loving touch. Through a comprehensive program of study that carefully balances the art and science of therapeutic massage the program strives to enrich the lives of its students. By empowering students with knowledge and understanding of the human body, they will be able to speak intelligently and professionally to their clients and other health care practitioners about the importance of massage therapy in preventive and palliative care.

Our Faculty

Our highly trained faculty is deeply committed to creating a safe, nurturing and intimate learning community that honors the diversity and unique gifts that each student possesses. We believe that human beings excel when encouraged to be fully who they are. The process of becoming a massage therapist is a life changing experience that allows individuals to bring their hearts more openly into their work. Our staff maintains high standards of integrity, character, and ethics, while cultivating these qualities in each of our students.

Educational Goals and Objectives

The school's primary goal is to prepare each student to meet and exceed the requirements of the New York State licensing exam for Massage Therapy. Our school's instructional environment fosters a solid foundation in the practice of massage therapy with numerous science classes that prepare students to fully comprehend body systems. They will have the opportunity explore many different hands-on techniques of holistic bodywork and engage in outside activities that help communities better understand how massage therapy can improve health and emotional well being.

Financial Aid Options

CNWSMT attempts to keep its tuition costs low so that its program can be accessible to everyone. Even so, the tuition and other fees may be beyond the reach of some applicants. In that case, financial assistance and payment plans are available to students who meet specific eligibility requirements.

Federal Financial Aid is available to those who qualify. CNWSMT is approved to participate in several Federal Financial Aid Programs including.

  • Federal Pell Grant
  • Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan
  • Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan
  • Federal Parent Plus Loan

Admission Process

Applications for admission are accepted any time throughout the year. Students are encouraged to apply to the program as early as possible, as enrollment is limited and classes fill quickly.
