Therapeutic Massage Technician

• 47 Quarter Credit Hours
• 600 Clock Hours
• Day - 6 Months; Evening - 7.5 Months

The therapeutic massage technician program is an advanced course in Swedish massage with an emphasis on therapeutic techniques. The objective is to give students the knowledge necessary to perform an extensive therapeutic massage. Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will receive a diploma and are prepared for entry-level positions as therapeutic massage technicians.

Advanced Bodyworker AST Degree

• 122.5 Quarter Credit Hours
• 1532 Clock Hours
• Day - 15.5 Months

The advanced bodyworker AST Degree program is an extensive course in massage therapy modalities with an emphasis on wellness, pathology and massage protocols, and the business skills necessary to manage and maintain a massage therapy business. The objective is to give students the knowledge necessary to develop massage protocol and perform an extensive therapeutic massage with focus on whole body wellness.

Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will receive an Associate in Specialized Technology degree and are prepared for entry-level positions as advanced bodyworkers utilizing advanced bodywork modalities.

Comprehensive Massage Therapist

• 70.5 Quarter Credit Hours
• 900 Clock Hours
• Day - 9 Months

The comprehensive massage therapist program is an enhanced course in massage therapy modalities with an emphasis on modalities, therapeutic techniques and business practices. The objective is to give students the knowledge necessary to perform an extensive therapeutic massage utilizing a variety of techniques. Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will receive a diploma and are prepared for entry-level positions as comprehensive massage therapists.

Job Placement

Job search skills are taught within the curriculum. Assistance is given to graduates throughout their careers. Eligibility for placement requires graduation from the program and adherence to the placement regulations, which are acknowledged by the student at orientation.
