At Diamond Light School of Massage & Healing Arts we offer professional Massage & Bodywork Certification training, combining state-of-the-art techniques with a heart centered, spiritual approach to healing. Located in beautiful Marin County, California, just north of San Francisco, our courses will provide you with the tools necessary to begin a fulfilling and lucrative new career in massage and the healing arts, as well as facilitate a quantum leap in your spiritual/personal development.

Approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, we have been training successful professional Massage Therapists and Healers since 1987.

Diamond Light graduates are highly respected and sought after in the professional community as their ability and skill upon graduation often exceeds that of practitioners with many years of experience.

Our Intention

It is our intent to help you to become a skilled and successful professional Bodyworker. You will learn to work proficiently with a wide variety of clients, situations and modalities, encompassing the physical, structural, emotional, energetic and spiritual dimensions of bodywork. Our training will enable you to work with clients seeking relaxation and stress relief as well as those with acute or chronic structural/physical complaints and those seeking more energetic/spiritual/emotional work.

With a high teacher to student ratio, we are committed to working with each student individually to ensure mastery of each modality.

Through the practice of massage, meditation and hands on healing, we support you to reconnect with your essential sacred nature and to share from this depth with others, both personally and professionally. We are known for our unique and skilled integration of the spiritual dimension of healing with solid grounded professional technical training.

We invite you to use the practice of bodywork to bring the sacred into everyday life, enabling you to silently complement the physical aspects of massage therapy with deeper levels of healing. Massage Therapist Certification ~ 150 hours
Swedish, Lymphatic, Deep Tissue, Foot Reflexolgy, Anatomy, Business, Prenatal, On-site, Meditation.
Comprehensive entry level professional training that enables you to practice professionally in most places in California.

Asian Bodywork Therapies Certification ~ 100 Hours
Professional training in Shiatsu and Thai Massage. Enables you to practice professionally in most places in California.

Advanced Bodywork Therapist Certification ~ 320 Hours
Massage Therapy , Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Shiatsu & Thai Massage.

Energetic Healing Certification ~ 160 Hours
CranioSacral , Meditation, Energy Healing , Polarity, Reiki Certification, and Silent Meditation Retreat. A profound inner journey into the subtler energetic dimensions of healing.

Professional Body Therapist Certification ~ 500 Hours
Includes all of the above. Enables you sit for the National Certification exam upon graduation

All classes and workshops may be taken individually or as part of a Certification Program

Professional Clinic

Our Students complement their training and make their transition into professional work by working with the public at our massage clinic. Employment at the clinic is available after Certification.

Our Founder

Vajra Matusow, our founder, director and instructor, has a vast depth of experience and a rich background in the healing arts. Her career as a Professional Massage Therapist spans 3 decades and includes an extensive variety of bodywork modalities. Her work with the body is enriched by a lifelong passion for spiritual awakening that has led her to study, practice and teach meditation, massage and healing throughout the world. She's been a minister for twenty two years, has a Masters degree in Somatic Psychology and is a Certified Hypnotherapist and a Retreat Guide

Vajra brings a unique blend of technical excellence, nurturing gentleness and spiritual maturity to Diamond Light classes. She is an inspiring teacher and her classes are woven with joyful self-discovery, laughter and love. She has been training successful professional Massage Therapists and healers for 20 years.

Our Instructors

Our core faculty of 10 instructors each have at least 20 years of full time professional experience and are renowned in their field. Their expertise is complemented by a warm, open hearted approach to teaching and a strong spiritual orientation.
