Massage Therapy Program

The Massage Therapy program has been designed to prepare students to take the registration examinations of the Massage Therapy Association. The program's primary goal is to provide learning opportunities that promote basic knowledge, skills, ethics and behaviours that will enable the graduate to successfully practice massage therapy in a variety of health care settings.

Massage therapists are valued health care professionals who can seek employment in settings such as private clinics, wellness centers, medical/rehabilitation clinics, sports medicine clinics, hospitals, geriatric care settings, or clinics offering chiropractic, homeopathic and naturopathic care. Opportunities also exist in health spas/hotels, fitness institutes, sports organizations/sports trainers, theater and dance groups, and tourist destinations and cruise ships. Self-employment is also an option through the performance of private house visits.

Advanced Massage Therapy

The Advanced Massage Therapy program has been designed to prepare students to take the Registration Examinations of the Massage Therapy Association. The program's primary goal is to provide learning opportunities that promote basic knowledge, skills, ethics and behaviours that will enable graduates to successfully practice massage therapy in a variety of health care settings. Active participation in our learning system also helps students develop confidence in their abilities as health care professionals.

Career Opportunities
