Health and Wellness Fitness Trainer

The Health and Wellness Fitness Trainer program is designed to prepare graduates to plan, market, and deliver safe and effective fitness, wellness and healthy lifestyle programs.

Our goal is to have you develop current, practical knowledge and skills in such areas as the development, implementation and evaluation of fitness and wellness programs, health promotion, lifestyle management, fitness assessments, leadership, safety and injury management.

Massage Therapy

The Massage Therapy program introduces you to over 20 different modalities including Spa and Wellness, Sports, Deep Tissue and Shiatsu. Students will also learn anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology to become good massage therapists. The program is divided between the classroom and hands-on lab.

The program consists of one pre-requisite course and eight self-contained units of learning called modules. The pre-requisite is designed to provide the students with the basic information necessary to lay a strong foundation for the program. Each student must successfully complete the pre-requisite course before moving on to any one of the remaining modules in the program. Included in this program are Anatomy and Physiology, as well as introduction to principles and practices of massage therapy, massage fundamentals, massage and bodywork, pathology, business and success skills, and health and wellness.
