Who we are:

Empowering students to turn their dreams into reality for 33 years, the Florida School of Massage offers students a holistic education in the art and science of massage therapy. Our students have come from all over the planet from as far away as Ireland, India and Zimbabwe.

Our Program:

We offer you a 665 hour comprehensive course of study that will give you the foundation of what you need to create a deeply fulfilling career as a professional massage therapist. Our approach integrates the best of technical massage instruction along with a highly personal process that will support you in developing your awareness and communications skills. Massage therapists with the skills and awareness to transform body, mind and spirit are extremely rare and have a much deeper capacity to connect with their clients in profound and authentic ways.

Our Curriculum:

A comprehensive curriculum gives you the tools you need to be a highly successful massage therapist. You receive an in depth experience in anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, as well as 6 massage modalities which include, Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, reflexology, connective tissue, sports massage and polarity therapy as well as hydrotherapy. In addition to the 6 modalities, you'll also receive a strong foundation in business skills and learn exceptional awareness and communication skills which will give you the tools you need to empower your clients to take control of their wellness.

Our Staff Community:

The Florida School of Massage community employs over 35 dynamic and unique individuals. All of our staff are licensed massage therapists as well as graduates of FSM's massage therapy program. Each of our lead instructors has 10-25 years of extensive experience in practicing and teaching massage therapy and each are specialists in their teaching area.

Our Campus:

Our campus offers a physical beauty that fosters change and is located immediately adjacent to the 20,000 acre Payne's Prairie wildlife preserve. The prairie is a wetland that hosts an array of creatures ranging from baby gators, sand hill cranes and otters to night heron and wood storks. We are located on ten acres in the raised hammock area that surrounds the prairie. The hardwood canopy is the home for bard owls and red-tailed hawks, peacocks and armadillos.

There are vegetable and herb gardens, a quarter mile of wooded walking paths, a fire pit in an open field, and picnic tables under live oaks draped with Spanish moss. We also have a vegetarian kitchen offering lunch to students. Private counseling is also available to support your transformational process in body, mind and spirit.
