Curriculum

The Professional Training program will teach you everything you need to know to become a competent feng shui consultant. Our core curriculum is comprised of nine, 4-day modules. All modules are aimed at creating a hands-on experience that facilitates the immediate practical use of what you learn.

Foundation and Form School

Explore the origins and history of feng shui and the underlying principles of this ancient practice. Learn about the different schools of feng shui, and the development of feng shui's most powerful tools. Form School is the oldest school of feng shui.

• The Trigrams and the Ba Gua
• 9-Star Ki Astrology

We continue our journey with an introduction to Compass School, the second of the original 2 schools of feng shui.

Advanced Luopan Compass

The Luopan Compass is the essential tool in Classical feng shui. Its many rings reveal vital information in assessing a dwelling or building site and contain a large body of knowledge that encompasses classical Chinese philosophy, numerology and cosmology.

Flying Star Techniques

Flying Star feng shui incorporates the elements of time and space. Learn how to trace the pattern of change through the 20-year periods called "ages" and access the fortune of a dwelling. With practice, one can learn how to unblock energies that affect the aspects of prosperity and health in a dwelling.

Stems and Branches Astrology

Find out about the fascinating study of a very important system based on Taoist metaphysics and cosmology. Used extensively by feng shui experts in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, Stems and Branches Astrology is an ancient system that reveals aspects of destiny, constitutional dynamics, and beneficial elements. This sophisticated method is useful for deriving important and very personal information about feng shui clients as well as clearly revealing aspects of their character.

Land Form and Topography in Feng Shui

Learn about how our landscapes impact our prosperity, our power and our health. Learn the importance of landforms and topography in feng shui.

Guided Site Visits

Certification

You will graduate as a certified feng shui practitioner and be well placed in the growing field of feng shui practitioners and holistic lifestyle consultants. For a seamless transition between being a student and becoming a consultant, we offer a Vocational Support Program, in which students learn how to create their business.

In addition, Golden Gate School of Feng Shui is recognized and accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. All of our graduates will have the opportunity to be certified by AADP upon completion of our professional certification program.
