Allow me to introduce myself...

My name is Cami Sandroni and I am the owner and director of Hands on Healing Institute. I believe that more and more of us are becoming interested in spirituality and are searching for different ways to bring peace, compassion, understanding and tranquility into our lives and those of others. This great new millennium is the time.

My Dad was a doctor of western medicine who treated his patients with a holistic approach. Listening to him talk about his patients was my first lesson in how you should treat the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. I experienced another strong lesson a few years ago. I suffered a great loss and was having a very hard time. I learned first hand how massage therapy could help in the healing process; not just with physical injuries but also with injuries to the mind and spirit.

My healing experience is the reason I have opened Hands on Healing Institute. My goal is to help you learn how to help others through massage therapy.

Massage therapy is a wonderful occupation. There are so very many things that our hands enable us to do but none as important than the ability to touch one another. We all have a purpose in life... a unique gift or special talent. When we blend this unique talent with service to others, we experience the exhilaration of our own spirit.

Our Programs

CMT250 (250 hours) has the curriculum recommended to apply for a State Certificate as a Massage Practitioner through the California Massage Therapy Organization (CMTC). A State Certificate would allow you to practice in any city in California.

MT500 Program (500 hours) is recommended for applying for State Certification as a Massage Therapist through the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC), which allows you to practice in any city in California. SB 731 Massage Therapy bill, which is a voluntary State Certification bill, has been approved. To earn a certificate for the MT500 Program you will need to take our MT250 Program and 250 additional hours of electives. When you have completed the hours and passed any and all applicable tests of the additional 250 hours of electives, you will be issued a MT500 Massage Therapist Certificate of Completion. Visit the CAMTC website for the steps to take to apply for State Certification.

Our Advanced classes are for massage therapists that want to add to their certified hours, continue their education and understand more fully the mind, body and spirit connection to facilitate healing.
