Areas of study may vary by campus.

No credits will be earned if the student withdraws from the program. All students who choose to enroll in a program will be responsible for a non-refundable enrollment fee. In addition, Hesser College, Manchester campus, students who choose to live in campus housing during the introductory period will be responsible for applicable room and board fees, even if they choose to withdraw or are not officially accepted at the end of the introductory term. Only the tuition fee will be waived.

While programs are designed to prepare graduates to pursue employment in their field of study, or in related fields, the College does not guarantee that graduates will be placed in any particular job, or employed at all.

Diploma - Massage Therapy

As more people learn about the benefits of massage therapy, opportunities for individuals skilled in massage therapy are expected to increase faster than average through 2014. Those seeking the services of a professional massage therapist include spa clientele, athletes, the aging population, and a wide range of individuals seeking relaxation and rejuvenation from the stresses of everyday life.

Designed to prepare you for entry-level positions in the field of massage therapy, our massage therapy program introduces you to the following:

  • Proper body and table mechanics and draping
  • The history of massage therapy
  • Basic organ structure and function
  • Charting client intake and progress
  • Demonstration of ROM
  • Basic health and hygiene procedures

  • Neurovascular massage
