Introduction

Healing Hands Institute for Massage Therapy (HHI) was founded in 1990 by sisters, Olga Kubicek and Alice Feuerstein, in an effort to provide a professional educational facility for Massage Therapy. Their sister, Eva Carey, joined them shortly thereafter and together their vision and dedication has created one of the fastest growing, most respected schools in northern New Jersey.

Accreditation

Healing Hands Institute offers an accredited massage therapy program in northern New Jersey, easily accessible from the tri-state area, which meets the rigorous standards set by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA), an accrediting organization. As a student of a COMTA accredited school you can expect the following:

• Receiving an education in Massage Therapy that conforms to or exceeds the high standards for quality and content, which are set forth and monitored by COMTA.
• Highly skilled teachers will teach you the most comprehensive and up-to-date techniques in massage therapy with many years' experience in their respective fields.
• As a student and graduate of a COMTA accredited school you will be part of a network of the most highly skilled massage practitioners in the nation.

Program

In our modern 5000+ square foot facility, HHI provides thorough and expert massage therapy training. We are accredited by COMTA, an accrediting agency for massage therapy schools, and approved by the State of NJ Department of Education. Our 600-hour comprehensive massage therapy Certification program encompasses anatomy, physiology, pathology, neuromuscular applications and the principles of modern massage therapy techniques.

An expanded 422-hour component in Medical Massage is available for New York licensure requirements or advanced education in the field. Sessions begin each January, May and September, offered on a full-time day or part-time evening basis. Advanced workshops are offered throughout the year.
