Massage Therapy Diploma

Allied Health Institute's Massage Therapy Program combines online learning with hands-on training to prepare students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to begin an exciting career as a massage therapist. Students are provided with a balance of online classroom instruction and clinical experience that prepares them to become a highly skilled, entry level therapist in a variety of professional settings. Graduates of our program, after receiving licensure, will have many career opportunities to pursue.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, "Employment of massage therapists is expected to increase by 19 percent from 2008 to 2018, faster than the average for all occupations. Employment will grow as more people learn about the benefits of massage therapy."

Students are educated in the areas of anatomy & physiology, pathology, kinesiology, professional ethics, and office procedures. The program includes bodywork and modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, shiatsu, sports massage and much more.

Massage therapy is a licensed health care profession in Florida State. Our program fulfills its requirements and is approved by the Florida Board of Massage.
