We currently offer more than 20 programs of study for our students in the categories of business, medical, information technology, criminal justice and culinary. The medical campus is located on the southeast side of Indianapolis just east of I465 on Brookville Road. The medical labs and hands on training will provide you with the skills and knowledge which are in high demand by physician's offices, hospitals and other health care facilities in the fast paced medical industry. Programs Designed for YouAt Indiana Business College, you can earn an associate's degree in as little as 18 months or a diploma in as few as 12 months! Our career-focused certificate programs are also very popular with students and we now offer Bachelor of Science degrees at selected campuses for those students interested in a four-year degree. Programs are designed based on the input of key business and corporate professionals who have identified what it takes to be successful within a chosen career field. The training you receive is specifically designed to provide you with short-term, concentrated skill development. Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworks - Associate of Applied ScienceThis program provides students with an understanding of the body and its functions, and teaches relevant massage techniques and therapeutic skills. These include, but are not limited to, advanced specialized massage such as sports massage, advanced therapeutic massage, prenatal massage, lymph massage, neuromuscular therapy, advanced reflexology, advanced acupressure, advanced kinesiology and women's health. Skills for client-therapist relations, communication and promotion complete this well-rounded degree that prepares the student to pursue national certification and ensure successful massage business. A certificate in this field is also available. This program can be completed in 6 academic quarters. Therapeutic Massage Practitioner - CertificateThis program teaches the necessary skills for applications and treatment goals of muscular and general relaxation, stress reduction, pain management, recovery from injury, health promotion, education and body awareness. The successful practitioner must, therefore, be proficient at more than a simple massage; he or she must understand the body and its functions, master a variety of techniques, and hone such skills as client assessment, communication and self-evaluation. Upon completion of this program, students may transfer all earned credits toward the Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworks Associate of Applied Science degree program. This program can be completed in 3 academic quarters. Accreditation & AssociationsIndiana Business College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award certificates, diplomas and Associate of Applied Science degrees. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education. Its accreditation of degree-granting institutions also is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
