Career Opportunities

Irene's graduates are provided lifetime placement services. Irene's students are trained to work in massage clinics, spas, hospitals, chiropractic centers, physical therapy offices, cruise ships and salons. Our placement director has an abundance of job opportunities through the extensive network of employers preferring to hire Irene's graduates.

Financial Aid, Grants and Loans

Title IV funding is available for qualified students. In addition to federal financial aid, Irene's is also eligible to receive funds from the Michigan Promise Scholarship, VA Educational Funds, Michigan Works Funds, UAW, Michigan Rehabilitation Services, Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, Americorps, Michigan Education Trust as well as private scholarships.

Myomassology Education

Holistic health is a tradition in Irene's family. Building upon knowledge passed down from her father and grandmother, Irene began to formally study massage in the 1950's. Utilizing her natural born gift and years of experience, she developed myomassology as a comprehensive healing art. Myomassology provides the practitioner with a variety of skills to tailor to each client, allowing maximum healing to occur.

Irene began sharing her knowledge with students in the 1970's, and has been passionately teaching thousands of therapists ever since. She traveled the world offering master classes, forging a reputation as one of the foremost authorities on bodywork.

Our curriculum provides a holistic approach balancing body, mind and spirit. An Irene's education includes a multitude of techniques, modalities and information.

Irene's Facility

Our facility provides a safe and effective environment for learning massage. We spent years creating a home for our school. Our beautiful 17,500 square foot building boasts large classrooms designed to provide an optimal space for learning. The school store provides all the supplies a therapist needs. Flexible Schedules

In today's fast paced society, it can be challenging for the adult student to gain an education. Understanding this, Irene's provides flexible schedules allowing students to work full time while in school. Day or evening classes are available.

School Credentials

Irene's is nationally accredited through the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training. Institutional accreditation is a process a school goes through to assure it meets high standards of educational excellence. Irene's is also licensed by the state of Michigan, and a member of the ABMP and AMTA.
