Massage Therapy Technician Diploma

The objective of the Massage Therapy program is to prepare students for entry-level positions in the field of Massage Therapy. Students who successfully complete this program will have the necessary knowledge and skills to take the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork presented by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), if applicable, and become employed as a massage therapist.

Although the program is designed to prepare students to take various certification or licensing exams, the College cannot guarantee students will pass those exams. In some cases, field experience may be necessary to be eligible to take or to successfully pass the exams.

The length of the Massage Therapy program consists of 370 hours of theory, 290 hours of lab, and 60 hours of practicum for a total of 720 clock hours over a nine month period, or six modules. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be awarded a Diploma.
