Located in beautiful Vancouver, BC, Canada, Langara College provides University Transfer, Career, and Continuing Studies programs and courses to more than 19,000 students annually. Our Holistic Health Studies has programs specifically designed for those interested in physical and spiritual well-being.

Our programs are designed to accommodate professional and personal schedules with most classroom instruction occurring on evenings and/or weekends. Schedules, prerequisites and tuition fees vary between programs.

Cranial Sacral Therapy Certificate Program

Gain the therapeutic manual skills needed to heal based on anatomy and physiology. Cranial Sacral Therapy uses gentle, hands on techniques for reducing headaches and pain and increasing mobility and range of motion. This program also includes a 50-hr practicum.

Integrated Energy Healing Certificate Program

Place the whole person—body, mind, spirit—at the forefront of the healing process. Integrated Energy Healing bridges ancient eastern practices, western teachings and recent scientific discoveries. This three-year, part-time program is held at a retreat site four times a year and includes supervised practice sessions and student clinics.

Shiatsu Therapy Certificate Program

Become a Registered Shiatsu Therapist in 6 months! Develop the power of healing touch while learning self-care to enhance your own health. Students receive professional training in Zen Shiatsu, supervised student clinics and instruction from highly experienced professionals.

Iridology Program

This comprehensive, 2-month program is designed to provide students with the latest Iridology information and training available in North America. You will be able to utilize this knowledge as a practitioner to help people with health challenges. Certification is offered through the International Iridology Practitioners Association (I.I.P.A.) upon meeting certification pre-requisites.

Spa Therapy & Holistic Massage Certificate Program

Earn a certificate in Spa Therapy & Holistic Massage. Includes Thai Massage, Swedish Massage and Aromatherapy (1000hrs of Massage Training). The program also includes credit toward further study to become a Registered Massage Therapist and eligibility to write the Registered Aromatherapist licensure exam.

Aromatherapy Program

The Aromatherapy Program is designed to give the student the fundamental basics to practice Aromatherapy in a safe and effective manner. If you are currently a Holistic Practitioner interested in incorporating aromatherapy into your practice, or someone who is generally interested in the healing nature of essential oils, then the Aromatherapy Practitioner Program is for you.

Yoga Teacher Training

We are the first college in Canada to offer a 250-hour experiential yoga teacher training certificate program! Students will get an introduction of Ayurveda, yogic lifestyle, diet and community. They will also learn how to teach to diverse groups (pre-natal, children, elderly). Taught by highly qualified, reputable teachers, the program includes a teaching practicum, mentorship and feedback from trainers. There is a unique opportunity for additional training in Rishikesh India.
