600 Clock Hour Massage Therapy Course

Student can expect to complete this program (on average) in about 6.5 months if they attend full time and are in satisfactory progress (good attendance). Daytime class schedule: M-F 9am to 2:45pm

Course Objective:

The objective of our Massage Therapy Course is to acquaint students with all aspects of massage and related modalities in order to provide them with the well-rounded background they need to become successful Massage Therapists. Delaware Learning Institute of Cosmetology strives to teach the basic principles that graduates will rely upon throughout their professional careers. With strong technical background and strong people skills, graduates will have the resources necessary to become successful. The Massage Therapy course is designed to prepare students for the national certification, state-licensing exam and for entry level employment into the spa industry, in-home or medical field. At Delaware Learning Institute of Cosmetology we train our future Massage Therapists for National Certification.

Our programs are accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS).

Cost: Tuition 600 hours at $13.00 per hour = $7,800.00

Additional cost may include but are not limited to: Class projects, class expenses, additional uniform costs, field trips (shows, educational trips, travel, etc.), state or national licensure exams (these will be explained during enrollment).

Admission Policy

Delaware Learning Institute of Cosmetology is looking for exceptional students who possess the desire and willingness to work hard in order to achieve their dreams. Delaware Learning Institute of Cosmetology is a Pivot Point member school and a private institution. Admissions are determined on a case-by-case basis.

The Process

To be considered for admission to any program, a prospective student must complete the following requirements:

• Complete an interview with an Admissions Representative.
• Complete an application for enrollment.
• Pay an enrollment fee of $100 (non-refundable). (Once accepted)
• Standard kit deposit of no less than $500.
• Must be a high school graduate, or obtaining a general educational development (GED) certificate. Students who have been home schooled may be eligible for enrollment if they meet the standards under state law and if they are beyond the ages of compulsory education. Once Accepted: Along with Delaware state requirements, Delaware Learning Institute of Cosmetology also requires potential students to have a high school diploma or equivalent in the form of transcripts (from an approved educational institution approved by Delaware Learning Institute of Cosmetology and submit 2 official copies), a signed medical certificate, admissions interview, enrollment fee and kit deposit of $500.00.
