LHAA is the most established health and wellness career training school in Kentucky, offering an experienced faculty and extensive hands on training. Established in 1999, LHAA is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and is licensed by the Kentucky State Board of Proprietary Education as a private occupational school.

Why Personal Training?

Personal Fitness Training is one of the fastest growing fields for employment in the nation, with opportunities for fitness workers expected to increase 29% over the 2008-2018 decade.

This is a career, not just a job. Our 840 hour program goes way beyond the minimum requirements to be a Personal Trainer.

The education includes in-depth studies in the sciences, business practices, fitness assessment, exercise program design and advanced techniques, nutrition, special populations fitness prescriptions, professionalism, communication skills, marketing, and lifestyle coaching.

Want to Earn While You Learn?

In the 120 hour supervised internships and externships students do hands on training, begin to build their clientele, earn an income from their clients, and develop skills in communication and business.
