Welcome to Logan UniversityFor more than 70 years, Logan has educated dedicated students to enter the chiropractic profession. From the first class of seven young men and women in 1935 to over 1,000 students today, Logan maintains its reputation as a leader in chiropractic, and sports rehabilitation education. The Logan campus is situated on 112 beautiful acres in a safe suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. The hilltop campus affords you state-of-the-art facilities combined with a serene and comfortable educational environment. Students enjoy the amphitheater-style smart classrooms, sports and wellness complex, learning resources center, William D. Purser multi-purpose center and the new standard process student center. Degree ProgramsOur academic year is divided into three, 15-week trimesters. The main degree offering at Logan is the Doctor of Chiropractic program. The newly developed Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation give both doctoral and independent graduate students the opportunity to specialize in the management and treatment of athletic injuries. Logan also offers undergraduate coursework designed for students needing specific prerequisite science and elective courses. Doctor of Chiropractic
The Doctor of Chiropractic program includes an extensive well-balanced study in Basic, Chiropractic and Clinical Sciences. The combination of classroom studies and hands-on experiences total nearly 5,000 hours spent preparing for a successful chiropractic practice. Included in this curriculum is extensive training in business and marketing. Extensive hands-on training and 13 chiropractic techniques are hallmarks of the Logan D.C. curriculum. Master of ScienceLogan has taken the lead in offering a graduate degree in sports science and rehabilitation. This unique, advanced degree option for sports injury management will provide the experience and training needed for success in the athletic arena. You can combine this program with your Doctor of Chiropractic Education, or take it as an independent degree. Bachelor of ScienceThis program enables you to matriculate into Logan and receive a bachelor's degree either concurrent with your studies in the Doctor of Chiropractic program or as an independent degree program. Accelerated Science (ASP)/ Undergraduate ProgramThe undergraduate program at Logan enables you to fulfill necessary prerequisite coursework. The required science courses are offered in an accelerated format, allowing you to take an entire academic year in one trimester. The additional undergraduate electives are available to fulfill other prerequisite requirements. Research
Research strengthens Logan's reputation and your hands-on experiences. Faculty are not only beacons of knowledge in the classroom, they also conduct significant research in numerous areas pertaining to the human body – gait, joint dynamics, spinal biomechanics and ergonomics. This research is conducted in conjunction with you. Our students work side by side with investigators to analyze and model the human body and its movements through the Student Research Program. Prominent research is currently being conducted in partnership with Harvard Medical School and Washington University School of Medicine.
