For more than 70 years, Logan has educated dedicated students to enter the chiropractic profession. From its first class of seven young men and women in 1935 to more than 1,000 students today, Logan maintains its reputation as a leader in chiropractic, and sports rehabilitation education.

The Logan campus is situated on 112 beautiful acres in Chesterfield, a safe suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. The scenic hilltop campus offers state-of-the-art facilities combined with a serene and comfortable educational environment. Students enjoy the amphitheatre-style smart classrooms, sports and wellness complex, learning resources center, the multipurpose William D. Purser, DC center and the Standard Process® student center.

The St. Louis area affords students many interesting options. Besides being the Gateway to the West, St. Louis is the gateway to numerous world-class attractions that won't break your budget. St. Louis is home to numerous cultural institutions and professional sports teams including the St. Louis Cardinals (baseball), St. Louis Rams (football), and St. Louis Blues (hockey). There's always something to do in St. Louis.

Degree Programs

Our academic year is divided into three, 15-week semesters. The main degree offering at Logan is the Doctor of Chiropractic program. We offer two Masters degree programs: a Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation and a Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance. Logan also offers undergraduate coursework designed for students who need specific prerequisite science and elective courses.

Doctor of Chiropractic Degree

The Doctor of Chiropractic program includes an extensive well-balanced study in Basic, Chiropractic and Clinical Sciences. The combination of classroom studies and hands-on experiences total nearly 5,000 hours spent preparing for a successful chiropractic practice. Hands-on training and 13 chiropractic techniques are hallmarks of the Logan doctoral curriculum. Extensive training in business and marketing is also included in chiropractic course of study.

Master of Science Degree

Logan has taken the lead in offering Masters degrees in both Sports Science and Rehabilitation and Nutrition and Human Performance. What makes them most unique is that either of the programs can be combined with your Doctor of Chiropractic education - or may be taken as independent degrees.

Bachelor of Science Degree

This program enables you to matriculate into Logan and receive a bachelor's degree either concurrent with your studies in the Doctor of Chiropractic program or as an independent degree program.

Accelerated Science (ASP)/ Undergraduate Program

The undergraduate program at Logan enables you to complete necessary prerequisite coursework for our Masters and Doctoral programs. The required science courses are offered in an accelerated format, allowing you to take an entire academic year in one semester. The additional undergraduate electives are available to fulfill other prerequisite requirements.

Research

Research strengthens Logan's reputation and your hands-on experiences. Faculty are beacons of knowledge in the classroom and conduct significant research in numerous areas pertaining to the human body – gait, joint dynamics, spinal biomechanics and ergonomics. This research is conducted in conjunction with your educational program. Our students work side by side with investigators to analyze and model the human body and its movements through the Student Research Program. Prominent research is currently being conducted in partnership with Harvard Medical School and the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

Although Logan does not have housing on campus, many affordable apartment complexes are located in and around Chesterfield, and many are within a short drive of the campus. In addition to a housing list of apartment communities, the admissions office also maintains a list of students who are seeking housing and roommates.
