Welcome to Logan College of ChiropracticEstablished in 1935, Logan Chiropractic College has been graduating dedicated, successful Doctors of Chiropractic who have been improving the quality of life and the health of people around the world. Logan College offers its students an excellent curriculum taught by highly qualified faculty, and a state of the art educational/learning environment on a beautiful 112-acre wooded, hilltop campus. The Mission of Logan College of Chiropractic is to prepare professionally competent, successful, practicing doctors of chiropractic by setting the standard for teaching and learning. The College will continue to pursue separate goals in research and public service.
More than 1,000 men and women, representing most states and many foreign countries, are preparing to become dedicated chiropractic physicians at Logan College. Approximately 75 faculty members, most of whom have doctoral degrees, guide the students through a year-round curriculum of 10 trimesters. Spacious, modern classrooms and laboratories are equipped with advanced technology and ergonomic seating. The 112-acre wooded campus is complemented by athletic fields, jogging and hiking trails, and a workout center. Student interns from Logan College, under the guidance of licensed doctors of chiropractic, provide health care for patients at Logan College Health Centers on the Chesterfield campus as well as 6 off-campus satellite health centers. Three of those health centers are located at St. Louis area Salvation Army facilities. Logan College, which has about 6,000 alumni throughout the world, is accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. A non-profit institution, Logan College is led by Dr. George Goodman, President. Policy is set by a 15 member Board of Trustees. Degree ProgramsThe calendar year at Logan College is divided into three academic trimesters. Students may enroll in September, January and May. Students like the personal attention they receive at Logan College. The high ratio of faculty to students (one faculty member for every 10 students) enables more time and more intensive study of every subject. The faculty of Logan College are individuals dedicated to educational excellence in the classroom as well as in personal academic pursuits. The educational qualifications of Logan College faculty are superior. Over 90% hold Doctoral degrees and many have extended their postdoctorate studies to attain additional degrees. Many lecture throughout the United States and around the world. If you have not completed your basic science prerequisites, you may do so through Logan's Accelerated Science Program (ASP). The Accelerated Science Program (ASP) enables the motivated student to earn one academic year of credit in selected science courses in one trimester. The science credits are applicable toward the Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology at Logan College of Chiropractic and may also fulfill science requirements toward admission to the Doctor of Chiropractic Degree Program. The student is encouraged to contact other institutions regarding the transfer applicability of ASP coursework toward their undergraduate, graduate or professional programs of study. Three terms are offered annually, beginning in the fall, spring and summer. Term sessions are 16 weeks in length. Each course is 8 weeks in length and is taught either in the first half or the second half of the session. HousingAlthough Logan College does not have housing on campus, many affordable apartment complexes are located in and around Chesterfield. Those listed here are in close proximity to Logan's campus. The College neither recommends nor endorses any of these listings. To assist our students in locating housing and/or a roomate, the staff of the Admissions Office compiles a "Share List", which is sent to incoming students and kept on file in the Admissions Office for the students. This source is intended to provide basic information for students to begin their search. Students are responsible for making his/her own housing arrangement.
