600 Hour Whole Health Shiastu Program
13-month accelerated program
Our program exceeds the requirements for Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and The National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. (NCETMB) Our Philosophy & Mission StatementOur mission at Massage Arts is to offer high quality education and opportunity for our students to experience their full potential & to develop the necessary skills to become a successful bodyworker. About Massage Arts CenterOur Comprehensive, integrated approach combines traditional Swedish massage with the advanced techniques of myofascial studies, shiatsu and deep tissue bodywork. Our curriculum teaches students these massage modalities as their own specialty and then specific classes are designed to teach how to combine and integrate the techniques. In addition, we teach you how to incorporate these techniques into tailored sessions for each individual client, ensuring that your work will be efficient, effective and rewarding for both you and your clients. We specialize in individualized instruction. To ensure this interaction, we maintain a maximum student class size of 16n. This is especially important during the hands-on portion of your studies. As you work on each other in class the ratio becomes 8:1. As a student, you will learn how to become both a practitioner and a client. By receiving massages in class you will gain an awareness of how massage is processed in your own body thereby facilitating an understanding of how your clients may experience massage in their own bodies At Massage Arts, it is our goal:
