Program Objective

The Massage Therapy programs provide training for an entry-level career as a professional massage therapist. Students develop the knowledge necessary to develop massage protocol and perform an extensive therapeutic massage with focus on whole body wellness.

Graduates are prepared for employment opportunities in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, medical offices, spas, health clubs, and private practice and are eligible to sit for the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

Full-time students earning an average of 16 credit hours per term may complete this program in four consecutive terms or approximately twelve months. The length of time required to complete the program as a part-time student will vary depending upon the number of credits earned each term.
