Why Mountain Meadow Massage School?
7 month, 716 hour Massage Therapy Certification
Program
Our Teaching Focus –
-
How to be truly present with your clients
-
Precise knowledge of the muscles and bones
-
Techniques for giving an effective and relaxing massage
Our emphasis is on teaching you how to be truly present for
your clients, holistically integrating mind, body and spirit.
Presence paired with precise knowledge of the human body and
techniques will equip you with the skills necessary to give
your clients the highest quality of care available, and therefore
stand apart in the industry. While presence is our main focus,
anatomical knowledge and skill with techniques is a close second.
We do not neglect academics to focus on energetics. Rather, the
two are interwoven in our unique program.
Our Location –
-
Charming small town with less distractions
-
10,000ft mountain with skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and
biking
-
Classroom located right downtown, directly on the river
Come awaken the healing energy within you in our high desert
mountain town of Ruidoso. A relatively small town, Ruidoso
affords a quiet and peaceful environment ideal for awakening the
healing, sensitive energy within you. Get rid of distractions
and get centered. The school itself is located conveniently
downtown, near shopping and restaurants, with a view of Rio
Ruidoso right out the big windows as you give and receive
massage.
Our Price –
-
Affordable
-
Competitively priced
Our cost is competitive with schools in our area. In fact, among
privately owned massage schools in New Mexico, we are one of the
most affordably priced. While payment plans are available, our school is not currently eligible for financial aid or government grants (FAFSA).
Small Class Size –
-
Between 8 and 15 students in your class
Being in a small town, our classes tend to be small, between 5
and 13 students, on average. Get the personalized attention you
deserve. Work one on one with our instructors and sometimes even
receive professional massage in class. Because of our small class
size, we are able to give what is close to an apprenticeship, in
terms of working closely with instructors. We find this
arrangement produces some of the most effective and experienced
therapists.
Yoga –
-
Participate in a 60 minute yoga class twice a week
Awareness in movement is a large part of our program, in the form
of Yoga. We believe that therapists who are aware of their
bodies, and know how to move them properly, will have a career
with longevity. Practice yoga twice a week, overlooking Rio
Ruidoso.
