A comprehensive study of anatomy, physiology, and pathology with practical emphasis in Western Swedish massage and deep tissue techniques. As an Aveda student you will receive additional training involving Aromaology and spa treatments to balance and add depth to your education. After completing 600 hours, you will be a certified massage therapist and you'll have the skills you need to find employment in a spa, health club or chiropractic clinic.

Your professional training encompasses three types of learning:

• Theoretical knowledge, the foundation of your education
• Practical experience, the application of your knowledge
• Your professional training and career building skills, vital for your success

Each phase of your education will emphasize a different combination of these approaches.
