Accreditation

Mountain State School of Massage is accredited by the Commission On Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA). COMTA is an independent accrediting body for the massage therapy profession in the United States. Mountain State School of Massage offers the only COMTA-accredited massage therapy training programs in West Virginia.

Certification

Mountain State School of Massage is permitted by the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission to operate as a post secondary school providing education for individuals pursuing massage therapy as a career. The school is also approved by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education provider.
