Mueller College of Holistic Studies is dedicated to an education that emphasizes the integration of spirit, mind and body. Mueller College was founded in 1976, making it one of the first schools of massage therapy and bodywork in the United States. To the present day, Mueller continues to offer high-quality education in a professional setting.

Accreditation

Mueller College of Holistic Studies is one of only two institutions in California accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA). COMTA is the only recognized accrediting agency focused solely on the quality of education for massage therapy and bodywork professionals.

At Mueller College, you can choose from a wide range of Western ("Swedish" massage, sports massage, spa techniques, deep tissue), Asian (shiatsu, tuina, Thai massage, Chi Nei Tsang), Eastern (Ayurvedic applications), energetic (subtle body modalities which includes cranial sacral and touch for health, and reiki) and many other healing modalities. We believe that a wide range of learning enables the therapist to offer an experience truly customized to the client's needs.

Graduates of this premiere level, 1,000-hour training program are better prepared for varied licensing requirements throughout the United States. Western and Asian skills and techniques mastered by students are refined and integrated into advanced applications.

The massage therapist Western studies 616-hour curriculum is comprised of advanced Western bodywork classes and health science classes to prepare you for professional practice. You will be qualified for licensing in the city of San Diego and to sit for the National Certification Exam.

Certificate - Massage Therapist (Asian Therapies)

The massage therapist Asian studies 616-hour curriculum is comprised of Asian bodywork classes and health science classes to prepare you for professional practice. You will be qualified for licensing in the city of San Diego and to sit for the National Certification Exam.
