The Myotherapy Instiute is a private college dedicated to assisting the intellectual growth of students within the context of massage therapy. The curriculum is designed to assist students in becoming massage therapists by acquiring thorough massage knowledge and skills required for Nebraska licensure.

The most significant growth is in medical practitioners' and consumers' appreciation for massage therapy as an effective integrative and complimentary healthcare modality.

The Myotherapy Institute's Approach to Learning

The Myotherapy Institute is dedicated to providing thorough research-based training in massage therapy while embracing the caring relationship that exists between therapist and client.

Instruction at the Institute is designed to blend these two aspects of massage therapy - the clinical and empathetic with the goal of preparing students to acquire a mastery of technique while encouraging them to remain sensitve to the whole needs of individuals who come to therapy seeking treatment.

The curriculum is designed to encourage students to explore their creative potentials - perhaps with the aim of improving the therapy process itself.

Since its founding in 1993, the Myotherapy Institute has been earning a reputation for solidly preparing its students for professional success, as well as success in passing the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCETMB). The Institute is licensed for both a diploma and AOS degree program by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, is approved by the Nebraska Department of Education and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Colleges and Schools of Technology.
