500 Hour Personal Training ProgramA unique 500 hour program teaching both the theoretical and practical application of program design, exercise science, kinesiology, diet, nutrition, working with special populations, weight management, and more. We use the latest NSCA - Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) book (we even host the NSCA - CPT test … and we'll pay for 50% of your test if you graduate with a "B" Average or better); technology such as HealtheTech's Body Gem to measure resting metabolic rate (RMR). You will both LEARN and PRACTICE the art and science of being an effective personal fitness trainer. Our 500 hour comprehensive course contains 300 hours of classroom teaching, plus 200 hours of supervised, hands-on fitness center instruction and actual individual, program design. You'll learn the latest techniques, tools, and program designs using free weights, fit balls, plyometrics, cardiovascular and selectorized equipment such that your clients KNOW the programs you offer are safe, progressive, results oriented, and exciting.
