What type of facilities will I be studying at?

Each NPTI school is set up slightly different, although all have classrooms that can accommodate a 35-1 student teacher ratio, the 200 hour hands-on portion is done at a fitness facility within a few miles of the school (maximum). Some locations have classrooms inside fitness facilities or have a private fitness facility.
At NPTI in California, we take full advantage of the beautiful weather, and teach you all about Outdoor Fitness! Many of our practical hours are spent outside at the beach or a park! Just think, you can run your own boot camp at your local beach or park! We show you how!

Will I get real work experience as a student of NPTI?

Our training programs are hands-on throughout. As a student at NPTI, you will have many opportunities to experience being a Personal Fitness Trainer throughout your training. Practice sessions occur within the first week.

What Do I Get When I Graduate?

Besides graduating with a vast amount of knowledge and confidence in fitness, you will receive a Diploma in Personal Training, which does not expire, a Certificate as a Nutrition Consultant and CPR/AED Certification. You will also be prepared to sit for the NSCA exam as well as the new TW-CC/A-CPT exam if you desire multiple Certifications.
