The Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine was incorporated as a not-for-profit educational institution with no share capital under the Ontario Corporation Act. It is governed by the Board of Governors and administered and managed by the executive team.

Founded by the profession in Ontario, the school was established to meet the need of the community for professional training of the highest quality with impeccable standards for the practice of classical homeopathy.

The Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine is committed to providing the most intensive and comprehensive education in homeopathy, science, and clinical internship.

Accreditation and Regulation

Homeopathy became a regulated health profession in Ontario in 2007.

Bill 171 included Homeopathy Act 2007.

The Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine is accredited by the Ontario Homeopathic Association.

OHA and OCHM were the driving force for the regulation of Homeopathy and integrating it in the Health Care system.

OCHM has attracted the leading internationally renowned Homeopaths to be on our Advisory Board and our faculty. These acclaimed teachers encourage our students to explore thought-provoking questions about health problems and then to apply answers to the situations.

Courses Available at OCHM

1. 9-Semester Professional Programme Leading to Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. Offered in-class on weekends and evenings. The Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine offers a unique opportunity to complete a 4 ½ programme in 3 years (comprised of 9-semesters, 3 semesters per year) in Homeopathic Medicine & Health Sciences. The curriculum consists of 4080 hours of homeopathy and science studies including 1600 hours of clinical internship in our hands-on full-time teaching clinic.
2. Special custom designed Programme for Physicians, Naturopaths & Health Care Professionals. Held in-class on weekends with extensive clinical training. This programme is ideal for those professionals who wish to add homeopathy to their scope of practice.
3. Exploring The Art & Science of Homeopathy Certificate Course. Could be completed in-class:
   • September-December-2 weekends a month
   • By distance education via internet, mail, fax
   • Start and complete at your own pace.
4. Information sessions are held every 3rd Wednesday of the month
