Excellence in EducationTogether with training in the science, philosophy, and art of chiropractic, the doctor of chiropractic program offers course work that covers the basic and clinical sciences as well as jurisprudence, office procedure, and business management. Parker University prepares students to be not only superior doctors, but also savvy business professionals who own and operate successful practices. Programs of StudyThe course of study is a four-year academic program condensed to three and one half calendar years of ten trimesters. Many students attending Parker University have previously attained a B.S., B.A., or higher degree, prior to entry into the professional program. Parker University also offers two bachelor of science degrees, one with a major in anatomy and one with a major in health and wellness. Clinical InternshipParker University offers many opportunities to gain exposure to clinical practice allowing students to gain greater experience with a variety of adjusting techniques.
Financial AidParker University offers many options to help fund your chiropractic education. Everyone is eligible to receive financial aid, and 99 percent of students receive some form of assistance. Students should visit with a financial aid counselor to go over the cost of attendance, ask questions regarding loans, grants or scholarships, and any other questions you might have. Special ProgramsMassage Therapy and Medical Massage The Parker School of Massage Therapy offers both an entry-level, eight-month 600-hour program in massage therapy, which prepares student for both the State and National licensures, as well as a 300-hour advanced medical massage program. The Parker School of Massage Therapy Intern Clinic provides our students the opportunity to develop their skills in a structured and supervised environment. Continuing Education Parker University Continuing Education Department offers a wide range of live and online programs including Animal Chiropractic, Chiropractic Neurology, Acupuncture, Scoliosis, Sports, and Pediatrics. In addition, Parker also offers massage therapy CE courses that are designed to give therapists additional skills and knowledge to help them deliver even greater wellness care to their clients. Student LifeParker students are exceptionally active in curricular and extracurricular activities. Parker offers a variety of student organizations and clubs that provide a unique opportunity for learning outside the classroom and an opportunity to develop leadership skills while growing and developing as a person.
