Parker University prepares students to be not only superior doctors, but also savvy business professionals who own and operate successful practices.

Programs of Study

The course of study is a four-year academic program condensed to three and one half calendar years of ten trimesters. Many students attending Parker University have previously attained a B.S., B.A., or higher degree, prior to entry into the professional program. Parker University also offers two bachelor of science degrees, one with a major in anatomy and one with a major in health and wellness.

Clinical Internship

Parker University offers many opportunities to gain exposure to clinical practice allowing students to gain greater experience with a variety of adjusting techniques.

  • Internships at Parker Chiropractic Wellness Clinics are excellent opportunities for student interns to receive hands-on training and gain practical educational experience from the demands of a wide and varied patient-base alongside some of Parker's most-established doctors of chiropractic.
  • Parker University offers students the opportunity to experience life after graduation ahead of schedule with Community Based Internships (CBIs) held at private-practice chiropractic clinics. Staffed by adjunct faculty of Parker, these clinics are carefully selected by Parker University to provide a real-world representation of the diversity of possible practices in chiropractic.
  • The Parker VA chiropractic student internship program provides up to 12 Parker interns (per year) with an eight-week rotation through the North Texas VA Hospital PM&R Spine Department. The students selected each trimester take part in a program consisting of 35 hours/week of experience.
  • The Clinic Abroad Programs in Mexico and Columbia, impart an educational experience like no other to senior-level Parker University students. Interns are immersed in the Hispanic culture, enhance their Spanish-speaking skills and benefit from the advanced-level of clinical experience required to better serve their future patients - and significantly mirroring those of increasing Hispanic-population healthcare in the United States.
  • Select Parker students are provided the unique opportunity to provide services at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) in conjunction with Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As the newest of Parker internships, CTCA supplies students with participation in the treatment of cancer patients.
