Program:

900 Hour Massage Therapy:

The Massage Therapy program prepares students for an exciting career in therapeutic massage. From the beginning, the students are engaged in medical and educational courses that provide the essential foundation for the massage techniques required in this emerging health field. The hands-on course immerses the students in classical massage techniques along with advanced therapeutic procedures and soft tissue manipulation and goes beyond the typical massage program by including Therapies of Asia.

Our educational process includes:

• The Science of Touch
• The Art of Massage Therapy/ Swedish
• Seated Massage
• Body Therapies of Asia/Meridians, Yin and Yang Theory and Oriental Thought. Complimentary Bodywork/ Hydrotherapy, Lymphatics, Reflexology, Trigger points, Ayurvedics and Polarity work,
• Assessments & Special Populations / sports massage, children & elderly, prenatal & infant massage.

Our clinic gives you an educational experience of working with clients in a real world environment. You are guided in assessments, record keeping, proper technique, communication skills and business operations. This program is offered as a day or evening course so there's no reason to quit your day job to get into this exciting career. Successful completion of this program qualifies the student to apply for the National Certification Exam in therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
