Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is a profession in which the practitioner applies manual techniques, and may apply adjunctive therapies, with the intention of positively affecting the health and well being of the client.

The objective of the Massage Therapy program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions in massage therapy. This program will provide learning experiences, coordinated with the texts and clinical activities to enable graduates to obtain basic competency needed for employment as a massage therapist.

This training program is divided into eight learning units called modules. Students must complete modules I, through VII. Upon successful completion of modules I through VII, students participate in 160 clock-hour Clinical Internship.
