Chiropractic Health Center

At Sherman, you'll work side by side with caring teacher-mentors. With a highly experiential academic program, including a two-year internship in our Chiropractic Health Center, you'll study chiropractic, you'll practice chiropractic, and you'll be prepared to succeed in chiropractic.

An exciting dimension to the Chiropractic Health Center experience is the college's fully digital x-ray department. Sherman students learn the newest technology available, both in x-ray courses and in practical applications in the Health Center.

Admission

Class size is limited, so apply early to assure a place in the enrolling class of your choice. Quarters begin in January, July and October. Applicants must have completed a minimum of 90 undergraduate semester hours.

The current GPA requirement for admission at Sherman College is 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. The college will raise its entering GPA requirement by one-tenth of a point each year, until the entering GPA reaches 3.0 in 2012.

Applicants must have completed the following courses:

• Biology: 6 semester hours (anatomy and physiology is strongly recommended)
• General (inorganic) chemistry: 6 semester hours
• Organic chemistry: 6 semester hours
• General physics: 6 semester hours
• Psychology: 3 semester hours
• English or communication skills: 6 semester hours
• Social science or humanities: 15 semester hours

Tuition, Financial Aid, Scholarships

Tuition for 2009-2010 is $6075.00 per quarter. Sherman College offers a comprehensive tuition assistance program for qualified students. Nearly 98% of Sherman students receive some form of financial aid. Students can also apply for a range of scholarships.
