Massage Therapy Program

Student Services

Southwestern College provides student services in many different areas:

Orientation

Orientation sessions are required for new students. At this time, students review some of the basic policies and procedures of the College and meet administrative and/or faculty members. Students make final tuition arrangements and receive program/academic advising from the Director, Assistant Director and/or Placement Director. Advising aids the students in making sound academic and vocational choices.

Tutoring

Tutoring is available for students who need assistance in class work. Tutoring arrangements may be made with the Director and/or the Assistant Director.

Free Parking

Parking is offered at no charge at all locations except the Vine Street and Dayton campuses.

Refresher Courses

Refresher courses are offered at no cost to graduates of Southwestern College who are in good standing with the College (for those courses currently being taught).

Library

Library materials are a valuable source of basic information necessary for success in academics and for continued intellectual growth. Audio visual resources are utilized.

Facilities

Southwestern College campus facilities are clean, well-lit buildings with classrooms conducive to learning. The College offers training on industry standard equipment that can be found in the business world. Equipment includes microcomputers, various software packages, transcribing equipment, and medical lab equipment.

Job Search Service

Southwestern College offers ongoing placement services for its graduates. Though the College cannot guarantee placement, Placement Directors work with students both before and after graduation to aid them in their preparations for entering the business world. Graduating students are enrolled in a Job Search Seminar where they receive instruction on resume preparation and job search and interview techniques. The Placement Director assists in arranging interviews with prospective employers and monitors results of the interview.

Location

The Northern Kentucky campus of Southwestern College of Business is located in Florence, Kentucky, just ten minutes south of Cincinnati, OH. Located near the Florence Mall, the Northern Kentucky Campus is part of Antique Center, a shopping center just off the Route 75 expressway. Ample free parking is available. The facility is surrounded by local businesses and restaurants and is easily accessible by bus transportation. The facility includes lecture classrooms, computer lab, and a medical lab to assist in student learning.
