The St. Croix Center for the Healing Arts, Ltd (SCCHA) is
located in beautiful Hudson, Wisconsin in the St. Croix River
Valley. SCCHA is licensed with the Minnesota Office of
Higher Education and the Wisconsin Approval Board.
We believe that massage and bodywork is truly a rewarding
profession. As a graduate you will have many career opportunities
in chiropractic offices, medical facilities, spas and health
clubs, or your own business. We offer an integrated approach to
massage and bodywork that incorporates a medical foundation with
instruction and information in the various therapies used in the
healing arts. We are committed to supporting our students by
providing an environment for personal and professional growth in
body, mind and spirit.
SCCHA offers three progressive and innovative programs.
Program I is 853 hours of massage and bodywork. Program
II is the new 604 "Fast Track". Program III is
the 183 hour Reflexology program. We adhere to the highest
standards. Our instructors are highly trained and many are
forerunners in their fields. Class size is limited to ensure an
optimal learning environment for each student.
Program I and II prepare students for the National Certification
Exam. Program III prepares students for the American Reflexology
Board Exam. Programs are offered daytime, evenings and weekends
to accommodate most schedules. Daytime classes meet Monday
through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Evening classes meet Monday,
Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

160-Hour Integrative Massage Course
Students will earn the skills and acquire the confidence
necessary to give a one-hour therapeutic massage to a client.
Students will gain working knowledge of the musculoskeletal
system, and kinesiology relevant to massage work.

120-Hour Deep Tissue and Sports Massage Course
Students learn to combine deep tissue, sports massage and body
reading analysis. The work helps to increase the structural
range of motion and release pain from the body.

100-Hour Acupressure Course
Students will learn basic acupressure using the Five Element
Theory with its twelve meridians and Strange Flows.

120-Hour Anatomy and Physiology Course
Students will have an understanding of each of the body systems
and an understanding of how physical and emotional dysfunction
affects the body.

64-Hour Pathology Course
Students will learn the importance of how pathology changes the
practice of massage and the need to be informed so they may
better assess and care for their clients. The focus will be on
client history and gathering data to support massage and
bodywork treatments. Documentation will be covered.

72-Hour Related Business Communication and Ethics Course
Students will be provided with tools to enhance communication,
develop alliances, increase profits and work smarter. Topics
will include ethics, marketing, client retention,
professionalism, referrals, insurance billing and business
start-up, to name a few.

48-Hour Aromatherapy Course
The students will learn how essential oils affect the body,
mind and spirit. Students will blend and incorporate oils, not
only for their fragrances but their healing properties, as
well.

28-Hour Basic Reflexology Course
Students learn how reflexology can be used to improve health.
Students will learn a one-hour routine each, for hand, foot and
ear.

35-Hour Advanced Reflexology Course
This program goes deeper into the dynamics of integrating the
foot, hand and ear reflexology points.

20-Hour Hydrotherapy and Spa Applications Course
Students learn to integrate health and spa relaxation aspects
combining different applications and nutritional information.

20-Hour Chair Massage Course
Chair massage in the workplace makes this a vital skill for
today's massage therapist. Students will learn how, when, and
where to apply this fun modality.

16-Hour Thai on Table Course
The students will learn modified Thai Massage techniques for
use on a massage table

40-Hour Final Integration Course
This course integrates all previous classes. Students will
reflect on their personal and professional growth as a result
of their massage therapy education.

10-Hour CPR and First Aid Course
The student will learn CPR and the use of a defibrillator and
how to administer first aid.
Tuition for Program I is $10,721, Program II is
$7,376, and Program III is $2,462. Textbooks are
additional. A $50 registration fee is required to hold
your position in the class.
