Touchpoint Institute of Reflexology and Kinesthetics, established in 1974, is centered around the principles of excellence, integrity, empowerment, and human dignity. We have taught people of all ages (our youngest -13, our oldest - a young 79 years old), those who were physically challenged, those with higher education and those who were learning disabled. Each has been successful and is working ion the field.

Becoming a Reflexologist or a Specialized Kinesiologist is exciting, fun, and rewarding. We are committed to teaching in a compassionate, enthusiastic and eclectic manner in order to encourage students to discover their own sense of competence, balance, courage and fulfillment, so vital in becoming a caring and educated health consultant.

Opportunities

Today, there are more employment opportunities than ever before, including private practice, sports and gym opportunities, clinical work, corporate practice, hospices, drug rehabilitation field, Animal Reflexology, health and wellness centers, geriatric work, cruise and spa options. The possibilities are endless.

Our teaching concentrates on two basic methods:

• Health repair, maintenance and dis-ease prevention. In the health-related format - as our population ages, people are seeking techniques that complement their medical care. Health centres are thriving or start your own practice. Chiropractors, Massage and Physiotherapists often share their premises and even dentists are using our skilled graduates.
• Pleasure, relaxation and stress reduction. Spas are abundant now and are searching for practitioners. A Hot Stone Reflexology session is relaxation at its highest and is very lucrative. Ski resorts are hiring constantly for both winter and summer. Consider cruise ships, hotels and vacation spots.

Yvette Eastman - Director and Facilitator at Touchpoint

Yvette Eastman, founder and Director of the Touchpoint Institute of Reflexology and Kinesthetics, has spent the last 30 years teaching students around the world while developing new programs and discovering new and easier ways too improve health. Yvette also has a thriving practice. In her spare time she writes books and articles, develops learning aids and upgrades her own learning. Yvette has written several books: Touchpoint Reflexology The First Steps, Give A Hand, Pawspoint Reflexology for Animals, Integral Meridian Reflexology. She has developed unusual and beautiful charts and video. Yvette's specialness is her bountiful energy, her joy of life, her humor and real caring for everyone she meets. She feels fortunate to have found her path and shared it with so many.
