Massage Therapy at United Education Institute

The overall objective of this program is to prepare students for a career in the field of massage therapy. Primarily designed for those wishing to be self-employed. Opportunities may be available in health and wellness centers, resorts and hotels, and rehabilitation and physical therapy offices.

UEI's Massage Therapy Program Highlights/Features:

• Graduates may become licensed through National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB)

• Managing a successful massage therapy practice

Practical laboratories are conducted in all of the relevant massage therapy skills used in the profession:

• Cryotherapy
• Hydrotherapy
• Deep tissue massage
• Shiatsu
• Swedish massage
• Sports massage
• Chair massage
• Reflexology
• Therapeutic massage
• Face and scalp massage
• Non-traditional massage therapies
