Medical Massage Program

Our Medical Massage Program is designed to expand the licensed massage therapist's scope of practice to include a detailed assessment of common regional structural dysfunction, a thorough review of treatment contraindications, and proper application of treatment protocols and rehabilitative exercises.

The Term "Medical Massage" has evolved from a blending of specific manual therapy techniques (soft tissue manipulation) , physical assessment skills, and knowledge of rehabilitation exercise. The result of this blend of knowledge is a medical massage therapist who is more clinically oriented in their practice and able to augment the level of hands-on care provided to patients.

These skills will empower the massage therapist and enhance the rewarding profession of massage therapy.
